RallyMoto Sprint - entries close on Friday 17th - so get your entry in quick

There will be new section in the course this year so there will be some technical going but no show stoppers for the Multi's. So it's down to running the perfect timed stage like the Pikes Peak event a couple of weeks ago.

We have just heard that Lyndon Poskitt, of Dakar fame, will be racing. He holds the record of the fastest time from last year, when he was racing his Factory KTM Rallye 450. So he is the man to beat.

Ollie Lloyd, the Rally Class winning at Pikes Peak will be challenging Lyndon for the overall result.

Pikes Peak Final Instructions and Start Times

Please find attached the final instructions for the Pikes Peak Rally Sprint on the 28th April 2013.

This is a sprint format so please do note the way the results are formulated. Also bikes will be off the line every thirty seconds so please make a reall effort to run to your alloted time.

Camping is available at the start but it is only really suited to Vans and Motorhomes as there is very little grass area.

Pikes Peak Reccy - 9th April

Moly and Burt headed out on rally bikes last Sunday to finalise the rally sprint course for the Pikes Peak Rally on the 28th April.

In the middle of the "timed section" was a bit of a surprise - the track was snow bound and very icy.

It looks like there is a lot of rain coming in this weekend and the temperatures are rising so we will be back to the "good ol' Welsh weather" of wind and rain so the course will be clear of snow by the end of next week.

ATRC - Round two - Pikes Peak Rally

The next round of the ATRC for 2013 is only a month away. The entries have recently gone live and we are looking at a completely new course for the Pikes Peak Rally.

The course will be open and flowing which will suit the bigger bikes with a good length "timed section" over a variety of terrain - all timed using transponders to '000 of a second.

This is "real rally" special stage action and there are some fast guys already signed up.

All Terrain Rally Challenge - Round One - Brechfa Rally

Round one of the All Terrain Rally Challenge for 2013 kicked off early in March with the Brechfa Rally, hosted by the Dyfed Dirt Bike in West Wales. The weather was cold but dry and bright and the 35 mile loop course was a great mixture open fire roads and techniacal off road to suit most riders.
