8th May - Tarrenig Rally - Regs for the Tarrenig Rally should be available from the 21st March - This event is Limited to 180 riders so you will need to send your regs off early to avoid disappointment.

A round of the big bike rally challenge

Dirtbike-Action are building on last year’s success and have increased the mileage and found some interesting going to add to the flavour of the rally. This year Patsy Quick has come onboard with the Desert Rose Adventure Academy, with the aim of improving the event even more.

We have had further confirmation that the Tarrenig Rally will run on the 8th of May and the regs will be out in March.

We will keep you posted.

Guys, the Ryedale Rally has filled up really fast this year - so get your entries in quickly for events to be sure your are in the Big Bike Challenge.

As events are filling up quickly we may have to take a view point that 5 out of the 6 events count for the challenge - this way if some one misses out on one event the challenge is still on.

The D2D round for the Big Bike Rally Challenge has been confirmed.

This will be starting at 7pm on the Saturday night (at teh same time as the 24hr race). For the BBRC the event will be 10 hours and will run through the night on the easy / fire road course.

We will have a separate finish at 5am. This gives the organisers 2 hours leeway before the start of the 12 hour enduro race on the "technical" course.

A good road going headlight will be OK for running through the night along with a helmet light (optional).

The regs and entries are now open for the Ryedale - You need to sign up quickly for this one as it "sells out fast".

I notice a few comments onthe site with regards to "Team" entries - or a team class.

What is your feeling about this? Who would like a team competition?

Suggestion:-

Three riders per team, if there are more than 3 the best three results count. That means if a team member has a puncture or DNF the team is not out of the competition.

The ponts from each team members are added together and the team with the most points is winning.

We may even stretch to a Team Trophy.

We did hear that the event was going ahead with a date of the 8th May but there is no posting of the event on the web site or on Enduro News.

For those of you keen to get your entries for the Ryedale Rally completed as soon as possible - there is a minor delay.

ACU and other permissions have taken a bit longer than anticipated and the organisers can't quite release them just yet.

Permissions are currently at ACU HQ at Rugby and, fingers crossed they'll be available online soon so keep checking the site.

The first event is now open for registration - The Keilder K2 Rally (July) has opened its registration with a special offer. If you sign up now you get a discounted entry of £95. After Mid March there will be a fee of £125.

We have been told by the organiser the event is totally big bike orientated with a choice of routes - a simpler route for bike bikes if you want it - or a more enduro type going.
